This week we celebrate 25 years of Youth Music
After being set up in 1999, Youth Music has helped more than three million children and young people the chance to make, learn and earn in music.
Whether it be working with grassroots music organisations, investing in over 200 young creatives, or how they've expanded into the rest of the UK, Youth Music has always celebrated the significant role that music plays in the shaping of young people. The Youth Music Awards are another prime example, which spotlight the next generation of young music pioneers.
Looking to the future, Youth Music wants to continue to evolve with the music industry by:
Launching an Early Years fund later this year, intending to give babies and toddlers the funding that can stimulate their creativity.
Bringing in a new team of advisors, with young people from their funded partners involved in the decision-making processes.
