Senior Transformation Manager - Luxury Retail

Luxury retail/beauty brand are looking for a Senior Transformation Manager, this role sits within the broader transformation function who work on the development and delivery of broad business wide capability building initiatives.

The role serves as partner to the Global Finance teams to build and deliver a roadmap of change that underpins the needs of our business.

Role Accountabilities:

The role of the Senior Transformation Manager - Finance is to support the development of operational effectiveness across the Global Finance Teams.

The role will oversee near term tactical improvements as well as supporting the evaluation, design and execution of larger scale long term initiatives.

  • Supports Finance leadership in capability analysis, project scoping, approach, and definition.

  • Designs and develops programs spanning process improvement, data improvement as well as technology-based improvements aligned to the strategic ambitions of the department and business.

  • Can deliver continuous improvement/change into teams partnering with teams de deliver training.

  • Support in engaging and involving broader global finance teams in projects/programs.

  • Ensures successful project outcome delivery that is in line with the broader goals and objectives of the program and business.

  • Serves as the primary contact and escalation point for any staffing, bandwidth, resource, or delivery issues within relevant programs.

  • Provides successful oversight of execution activities to ensure program adoption and

  • Produces effective progress reports and communication mechanisms for the program to keep senior leadership appraised of the status, major risks and issues, scope changes, budgets, headcount and milestone achievements or misses.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience of Shared Service Operating Models either leading or implementing including understanding key KPI's and OKR

  • Experience of ERP /System development (SAP desirable)

  • Experience of overseeing teams both directly and in matrix.

  • Action orientated with the ability to balance short term results with longer term strategy.

  • Ability to influence at levels across an organisation driving change practice

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and to tight deadlines

  • A financial accounting background is key for this role
