Accounts Assistant - Live Music and Events - Central London
A leading Entertainment business are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be required to do a 4 day working week (Mon-Thurs) based in the fabulous Central London offices. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the day-to-day business accounting and maximising the financial efficiency of the organisation.
I am looking for a candidate with at least 6 months experience working within a Finance function, and ideally someone with a passion and personal interest within Music and Live events.
Please note this is a part time role working 4 days per week. Paying a salary of £23-26K pro rata.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily/weekly financial administration:
- Reconciling drop sheets and posting sales
- Coding and posting invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Raising purchase orders
- Preparing and processing weekly supplier payments
- Assist with certain month end tasks
- Chasing overdue invoices and payments
- Updating events analysis and weekly event reporting
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Monthly/quarterly financial administration:
- Assist the Group Management Accountant in producing the monthly management accounts
Key skills:
- Previous experience working as part of a Finance function
- A good understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations is desirable
- IT proficient with a good understanding of MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- A real team player with a proactive work approach
- An interest in Music, Live Events or Art industry would be a bonus!
