Accounts Assistant - TV Production - Central London

A busy Production company are looking for a permanent Accounts Assistant to join the team in the London offices. This Accounts Assistant will be responsible for purchase invoice processing, reconciliations and day to day account management working closely with the Financial Director.

Please note this role is office based 4 days per week with 1 day working from home.

Key responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process purchase invoices - match against POs, obtain authorisation and post invoices for productions and overhead costs.
  • Generally maintain purchase ledger, investigate and resolve queries and old items.
  • Purchase ledger payments - compile, obtain authorisation, post.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Record, monitor and post petty cash, ensure it is accounted for in a timely manner.
  • File all paperwork in an orderly manner.

Key skills:

  • Prior experience working within a Finance function
  • Understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations and POs
  • A background in Production would be highly desirable but not essential
  • A keen interest in the TV/Film Production industry
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise work load
  • IT proficient and prior use of Octopus PMI would be a bonus
  • Hard working and motivated
