An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join one of the world's largest and most successful creators of Film & TV, based in Central London.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing of invoices, varied payments runs and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
The Accounts Payable Team of 5 is part of the Business Services team who provide a central accounting function for the Fremantle businesses in the UK and internationally.
The main responsibilities will include:
Invoice Processing
- Capturing of all incoming invoices onto SAP (Approx. 2,000 per month)
- Chasing the business unit or supplier if the PO number is not quoted
- Capturing manual payments onto SAP
- Identification and resolution of invoicing errors
- Payment Runs
- Generate Artist / chaps payment proposals and obtain authorisation of the run
- Upload of payment files to banking systems
- Maintaining Supplier Accounts
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Validating new vendors raised by the business units
- Amend existing vendor details to ensure they are up to date
- Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Month end Activities
- Process and validation of all invoices by month end cut-off date
- Aged creditor reconciliation
- Journals and processing expense claims
The ideal candidate:
- Will have 1-2 years previous experience within an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role
- A strong interest in the media or entertainment industry
