Assistant Accountant - Creative Agency - London
A fast growing Creative agency are looking to hire a permanent Assistant Accountant based in London. This Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting duties. You will be assisting the Financial Controller and work as part of a vibrant finance team.
Offering hybrid working with a an expectation of 3 days in the office and 2 from home. They are also offering a clear progression pathway and are open to offering study support should this be of interest!
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly VAT Returns for UK and Europe
- Oversee AP and AR deadlines (Month end Closure etc)
- Bank Reconciliations
- Currency Revaluations e.g. Bank Accounts and Inter company
- Control of Inter company
- Month End Journals - Accruals, Prepayments, Deferrals etc
- Assist with the preparation of Management Accounts
- General Ledger / Band Account reconciliations
- Ad Hoc Reporting
Key skills:
- Previous experience working within an Accountancy role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT Skills to include Microsoft Excel
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Multi Currency
- Must be timely and organised
