Are you experienced selling into marketing managers in the retail/music space? Do you have industry knowledge of copyright /in-store music?

Handle are proud to be working with a globally recognised music publisher that specialises in producing and distributing the musical work of up and coming artists via digital music stores, streaming services and sync platforms.

Their fiercely dedicated team is driven by a constant thirst for innovation and creativity with an extensive knowledge of cutting-edge developments in the field of music and technology.

They are looking for a Business Sales Manager to contribute to the growth of their in-store music streaming business in the UK.

An understanding of the in-store/background music industry is essential, someone who will bring knowledge of music rights and a passion for music in addition to an exceptional sales track record.

The role will be based in West London, offering a hybrid workplace model. 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Occasional travel to Italy is expected.

Salary: Up to £55,000 + 20% bonus

Location: W11

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the continued development of their products and processes

  • Develop and deliver client pitches in partnership with other sales staff across the company

  • Hit/exceed new business targets and expand their client base in Italy

  • Build and maintain expertise on competitive products and services

  • Collaborate with IT, Music and other departments to deliver an exceptional experience for their clients

You will have:

  • 5 years+ proven experience of achieving on target or above new business sales performance

  • The ability to work autonomously and proactively to develop new opportunities

  • Proven experience prospecting clients via digital channels and closing deals remotely and in person

  • Knowledge of music rights to enable commercial conversations
