Internal & Consumer Communications
An excellent opportunity is available with a best in class media brand and owner of some of the most loved UK publishing brands. This is a great opportunity for an Internal Communications professional looking to advance in their career and diversify their experience, with opportunity to get stuck into some consumer communications.
You will take lead on internal communications within the business, driving engagement and awareness of key business priorities, support on D&I initiatives and well-being activities. You'll also provide both proactive and reactive PR support for the businesses consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy alongside the Director of Communications
- Provide regular and relevant content for the intranet, website and weekly newsletter updates
- Create content for the internal activities and corporate activities
- Build strong relationships across the business, with an aim to identify and produce a regular flow of news content
- Close work alongside the internal events team to support and promote the active engagement programme
You Will Have:
- Strong and demonstrable success in an internal communications role
- Consumer PR experience - either from an agency or in-house
- Great experience leading and spearheading on projects and implementing internal communications strategies and plans
- Experience in briefing design and video teams
- An understanding as to how internal communications channels function, online, face to face and events
- Experience developing, writing and implementing creative and compelling content
- Knowledge of best practice in engaging employees and amplifying internal engagement
