Data Quality Analyst / Data Analyst - Retail
We currently have a Data Quality Analyst role available for a high profile Retail company with UK headquarters in North London. This is a great opportunity to working on various high profile projects as they continue to expand.
The Main purpose of the role is to Drive Data quality improvement.
Essential:
- Good experience as a Data Quality Analyst
- Creating and implementing data quality dashboards and monitoring techniques
- data quality profiling, and creating data quality rules agreed with the business stakeholders
- Data Modelling experience.
- SQL and/or PL/SQL experience.
- MS Excel/GSheets at an advanced level.
- Working with large data sets including Identification and correction of inconsistencies.
- SQL, with table design and creation as a minimum standard, with the ability to manipulate fields, insert, delete and move data.
- Knowledge of data quality management tools.
- Solid understanding of data quality concepts; experience of managing, controlling, reporting data quality and integrity.
- Knowledge of Data integration, reconfiguration and manipulation
- Cloud platform - especially GCP
Desirable:
- Data Engineering experience
Role:
- Drive Data quality improvement
- Support the data governance programme
- Build and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Marts.
- Builds tools and dashboards to monitor quality
- Document changes and manage work requests for data engineering remediation of quality issues
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to capture business rules and data quality rules
- Maintain enterprise data model in line with data quality deliverables
