Handle Recruitment is seeking an immediately available Digital Content Producer to join a leader in events, insights and industry news to the Marketing, Advertising and Creative sectors.

In this role you will be responsible for increasing awareness of the brand through increasing engaging with audiences across key channels including social media, search, email newsletters and the website.

As the Digital Content Producer your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and creating content for articles, including design, image and text formatting and SEO optimisation.
  • Sourcing images, media and content for online stories.
  • Maintaining the look and feel of the website, in particular how articles and images appear on the homepage and key landing pages.
  • Handling comments and queries about the website or content.
  • Using social media to develop and execute campaigns
  • Managing the Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, including the distribution of content and responding to audience comments and queries.
  • Looking for opportunities to resurface old content as and when relevant on social media (and in newsletters and on the website), building a narrative around themes or types of content.
  • Working with marketing, sales and events teams to promote events and commercial content projects across digital channels.
  • Producing monthly reports on social media performance and engagement, tracking progress against agreed targets.
  • Researching social media trends and new technologies and assessing their suitability for the brand.
  • Working with the section editors on devising and delivering on newsletter strategy.
  • Creating and distributing daily and weekly email newsletters.
  • Monitoring traffic from newsletters and suggesting ways to boost this.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Web production experience including use of programmes such as WordPress, Photoshop, ExactTarget and online tools such as Canva.
  • Experience running social media accounts, preferably for a newsroom.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clear and concise copy.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Editorial production experience
  • Experience of developing and executing social media marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of and interest in the marketing and advertising industry.
  • Newsletter production experience.
  • Knowledge of analytics software.
