Digital Insight Analyst
We are working with a global broadcaster currently looking to add a digital insight analyst to their team. This would be a great opportunity to work for one of the leading broadcasters worldwide.
The role:
- This role will act as support for the Research Manager and will require supporting on ad-hoc requests and larger insights projects
- Provide detailed reporting on the performance of the client's linear portfolio of Entertainment, Factual & Sport channels as well as our direct-to-consumer services
- Jointly share responsibility for the regular reporting with other team members - ensuring reports are accurate and delivered promptly each day/week
- Provide the Planning team with clear, actionable information to help optimise and grow our linear portfolio and direct-to-consumer services
- Support commercial teams and help develop compelling sales presentations for our brands making use of all available research tools
- Help measure audience consumption across platforms to develop a holistic picture of viewing across our products and brands
- Fully exploit available audience data and combine with other research insights to reveal more about our viewers and their content choices and behaviour
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in the media industry within a research department - either a media owner or media agency
- Passion for media research and desire to help develop the client's business
- Experience with industry analysis tools such as Advantedge/TechEdge, Adobe Analytics and TGI
- Strong grasp of media metrics across TV and digital platforms
- Good knowledge of Microsoft (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (e.g. Sheets, Slides) software packages
- A solid understanding of the UK TV market and challenges it faces
