Digital Product Manager

Our client is building an exciting new premium digital subscription service. You'll be joining a newly assembled Digital team who have been tasked to deliver this high visibility project, building a complex project from the ground up. To be successful as our Digital Product Manager you'll need experience delivering D2C content platforms or subscription products ideally for creative businesses.

In this role you'll drive the cross-functional product team to deliver a great product experience at launch and work with the leadership team to shape product strategy. You'll develop and prioritise a product roadmap that balances short and medium term business goals with the established long term vision.

The role:

  • Take ownership of the product roadmap and drive the product strategy and vision
  • Lead discovery work for the product: collaborating with user experience (UX) and engineering teams to prototype features and validate hypotheses, ensuring that decisions are data driven and measured against agreed KPI's
  • Write product documentation and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and engineering team
  • Provide leadership and direction to a cross functional team of freelance and internal staff
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage prioritisation and trade-offs, balancing customer experience, technical constraint and, time to market Stakeholder management & product roadmap
  • Communicate the vision and progress of the product to senior management, marketing, product and

engineering stakeholders

  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation and particularly with content and marketing teams

Customer focus, user experience & data analysis

Requirements:

  • Proven experience launching subscription products and working with designers, engineers, and business leaders
  • Experience working in creative businesses
  • Proven project management experience, working on big, complex projects
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently - keeping momentum while communicating progress to stakeholders
  • Experience designing & executing user research activities
