Finance Analyst - Media Entertainment - Central London

A newly created role has opened up for an experience part qualified accountant within a leading Media and Entertainment business based in Central London. This Finance Analyst position will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the finance function including month end reporting and analysis.

This role is working on a hybrid model with your hours split between the office and home. This role will offer a clear concise progression pathway, supporting with your professional qualifications and offers a vibrant working environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Finance Manager in all aspects of month end and reporting for the Icon outlet shopping and Entertainment district businesses and service charge
  • Month end cost centre preparation and reporting for several departments, including accruals, prepayment & variance analysis. Liaison with department managers as required
  • Ensure accurate accounting of quarterly service charge revenues and costs
  • Monthly footfall reporting & collection analysis
  • Monthly forecast & budget uploads to Longview
  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with production of the consolidated management accounts pack, including reporting on key KPI's and monthly reforecasting
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with annual budget cycle, feeding in to the company wide budget pack
  • Liaising with external auditors at year end as required
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the Finance Manager

Key skills:

  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA studier
  • Good knowledge of double entry accounting - accruals/prepayments/deferred income
  • Experience within the Creative sector would be a bonus
  • Highly personable with confident communication skills
  • IT proficient with a good understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
