A well-known eCommerce business are looking for a detail focused and progressive Assistant Accountant to join them on a 6 month contract. Working very closely with the Financial Controller, this role is an integral part of the small, dynamic finance department.
The Role
- Processing and approving invoices
- Managing queries and liaising with suppliers
- Sending out royalties statements on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assisting with quarterly VAT return preparation
- Prepare revenue journals and reconcile credit cards
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Managing Petty cash
- Posting intercompany transactions
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for review by the FC
- other ad-hoc duties to support team

- Immediately available to start
- Highly numerate
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong excel skills
