Innovative Record Label and Music Publisher are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. Dedicated to support all areas of accounting across this growing business, this role will work closely in supporting the CFO and key stakeholders in driving the company forward. Being responsible for providing key reports and analysis, the post holder will play a pivotal role in the strategic approach to the long-term business plans.
Key responsibilities:
Managing company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
Month-end procedures
UK Tax Compliance (VAT, Corporation taxes, employee taxes)
Management and Statutory reporting
Providing and interpreting financial information
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Transactional accounting, PL, AR, Bank recs.
The successful candidate:
A qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA
Experience working in the music industry is key
SAGE Cloud 50 experience is desirable
Strong Excel knowledge
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive person who is flexible in their approach to work and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks.
