Head of Business Applications & Data - Dynamics / D365
We are working with an exciting business within the aviation sector looking to add a Head of Business Application & Data to their team. The Head of Business Applications and Data will be a key member of the Technology Leadership Team, responsible for the ongoing development and effectiveness of all internal technology systems and internal data management and reporting across the wider group.
You will be responsible for leading and motivating the Business Applications, keeping abreast of best practice and innovation as well as being the lead for any significant strategic and business change requirements.
The role:
- Lead and develop the Applications and Data team
- Work seamlessly with the Head of Service Delivery and Information Security
- Own and drive the development and maintenance of the full application stack and requisite data warehouse and dashboards
- Lead interface with senior stakeholders on business applications and data business requirements
- Ensure that all technical processes, business change documentation and third party development are maintained
- Lead the Business Applications and Data relationships with key technology partners
- Monitor innovative technology developments and recommend appropriate action
- Ensure effective communication and upskilling of changes to stakeholders and system users
- Drive reporting and data analysis - end user adoption and usage patterns
- Lead on complex projects
Essential Requirements:
- Experienced leading a Business Applications team including ERP solutions, CRM (Microsoft D365 or similar), preferably across a multi-site professional services or finance industry
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Applications for Microsoft D365
- Versed in leading agile teams
- Experience of supporting an ERP application Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar
- Knowledge of SQL Server
- Expert use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Access
- Strong knowledge of Data Analysis and reporting

- SQL Server (2008/2008R2/2012)
- T-SQL Scripting
- SSIS,SSRS,SSAS)
- End user reporting tools (Qlikview, Jet, Crystal Reports)
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Office 365 experience
- SharePoint experience
- Azure experience
