Management Accountant - Entertainment - Central London

A growing Entertainment giant are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis offering hybrid working from the Central London offices. As Management Accountant you will be responsible for end to end management accounting and reporting for various Artist management teams.

The successful candidate would ideally have some experience within a similar role including exposure to working within a fast paced environment. We are looking for someone with strong data handling skills, excellent MS Excel knowledge and the ability to maintain/build professional relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Defer & recognise income & costs for tours & festivals on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile ticket, rebate & all other revenue for touring on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile costs for all tours on a monthly basis
  • Update & reconcile reports each month, raising or releasing accruals as necessary
  • Run the show report & reclass any mis-postings on a monthly basis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaise with legal & prepare artist payments for review as per contract
  • Working with touring to prepare payments for settlements to artists post event
  • Settle with UK co-promoters, request co-pro settlements & invoices for processing
  • Assist with reviewing coding & posting AP processed invoices
  • Continually seeking ways to streamline & automate accounting processes
  • Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the Finance Manager & any member of the senior management team

Key skills:

  • Previous experience working within a Management Accountant position
  • Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA or studying towards
  • Previous experience & demonstrable confidence within accounts preparation & financial accounting
  • A background in Entertainment/Events is desirable but not essential
  • A confident communicator, someone who is comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Posses excellent core accounting skills
  • Strong IT skills relevant; particularly MS Excel
