A really cool video production & creative content studio are looking for a part-time Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a 6 month FTC. Based in London's busy and vibrant West End, this is a flexible role for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant, preferably with previous experience using XERO accounting software, to join a creative company that offers a fabulous working culture and the potential to develop into a broader finance role down the line.
This part time role will be 2 days a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring and dealing with all purchase invoices and queries within the finance mailbox
- Building fabulous working relationships with both internal and external contacts a
- Logging approved invoices on to XERO
- Setting up purchase invoices for weekly/monthly payment runs
- Allocation and reconciliation of payments
- Reconciliation of monthly company credit cards
- Investigate purchase invoice and ledger queries
- Create new supplier accounts
- Maintain the accuracy of vendor details
- Process staff company expenses
- Data entry & reporting
- Assist with ad hoc queries and reporting
SKILLS
- Prior experience essential in a busy Accounts Payable position
- Prior use of XERO software is highly desirable
- Excellent organisation and meticulous attention to detail
- Approachable and good at building relationships
- Confident communicator
- Experience of working in a SME within the creative industry
