Product Manager
We are working with a media/music business looking to add a Product Manager to their team in London. This is a great opportunity to work for a very exciting brand within the media/music sector.
The role:
- Collaborating with the Product Director to define the product vision and its iterative deployment
- Taking ownership of a key product from build to launch and phased improvement
- Deliver key products on time to the agreed roadmap
- Setting the objectives and key results for their product responsibilities
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Help to build a strategic product roadmap that fits in with the overall strategy of the department and the company
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding in the wider business and beyond
- Work closely with the other product manager & wider squad to build core features
- Collect customer feedback, evaluate and disseminate to the team
- Work with the external developers to deliver quality features and products within the expected timeline
- Deliver Agile led deliverables with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- 5 years minimum experience
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Proven experience in client/customer-focused product development and understanding.
- Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Solid problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Stakeholder Management and Stakeholder Analysis skills
- Market and User Research expertise
- Proficient in Agile development methodologies
- Release Management
- Product Design Knowledge
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Excellent Roadmapping and prioritization expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Ability to deliver strategically and about complex issues
