A multi-award-winning talent management and television Production company is looking for an experienced Production Accountant to join their London office. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a variety of BAFTA winning entertainment shows as well as prestigious tours for artists.
The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Processing and payment of invoices in the accounting system
Entry of internal recharges and WIP balances in the accounting system - Reconciliation of weekly/monthly cost reports to the accounting system
- Preparation of month end production packs, including trial balance, cost manager,
- creditors report, bank reconciliation and quarterly VAT return for each production
- Preparation of weekly / monthly production payroll
- Regular liaison with respective Production Manager regarding 'actuals' and 'costs to complete' in cost manager, production payroll and under- and overspends against budget
- Assisting in production close downs including closing bank accounts and transferring balances to the main ledgers, and generating a final cost report with accurate remaining 'costs to complete'
- Cash flow forecasting Finance Support:
- Assisting with record keeping - filing / archiving
- Assisting with review and clear up of creditors ledgers
- Assistance with bank reconciliations and clear up of un-cleared items
- Reconciliation of petty cash
- Assistance with banking, credit card reconciliations, assisting with production accruals clear up
The ideal candidate:
- Previous production accounting experience is essential
- Experience of Sage Accounts/BrightPay desirable
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
