Programme Manager
We are working with a global broadcaster currently looking to add a Program Manager to their team. This would be a great opportunity to work for one of the leading broadcasters worldwide.
This is a role inside a fast-paced start-up environment where we are also building process and structure. This position will appeal to a person who is excited by new product development while yearning to help shape project management practices.
The role:
- Day to day oversight of a multi-stream program
- Day to day leadership of projects managing multiple work streams and levels
- Define responsibilities and set direction and allocate with the wider team
- Hold responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables and communications of the Programme
- Ensure a constant and high level of reporting on program to senior management
- Resolve issues, suggest process enhancements and generally be able to liaise with technical teams to get things done
- Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating as necessary
- Establish solid, constructive relationships with Product Owners and/or Managers
Requirements:
- Agile experience managing technology projects
- Pragmatic problem-solver able to adapt to continuous change and handle ambiguity
- Comfortable communicating with different audiences, being able to manage upwardly and downwardly to a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to turn requirements into a viable project plan and marshal resources required to deliver commitments and manage risks
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles
- Experience working in a VOD environment would be beneficial
- Experience working with live sport streaming
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
