We are looking for a Payroll officer to join a Global creative business on a PT basis 3 days a week (2 days in the office and 1 day working from home)
Ideally you will have experience across EMEA and US as this will be working across their global offices
You will work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Payroll Day-to day
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK and US legislation.
Manage the preparation and submission of monthly payrolls, including calculations for overtime, bonuses, and other variable elements.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, and statutory payments.
Work closely with the UK and US payroll providers to timely and accurate data
Ensure payroll operations comply with local regulations, including RTI submissions and PAYE requirements, in the UK.
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including P11Ds, P60s, and annual returns.
Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation in both the UK and US to ensure the company remains compliant.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience preferred
Payroll Certification, CIPP
US payroll experience preferably
Accurate documenting skills and attention to detail
Knowledgeable in managing processes
Problem analysis and ability to problem-solve
Ability to work independently, act with discretion, and appropriately handle confidential information
Experience handling expenses and benefits and their relevant tax treatments
Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with payroll software
