Regional European Administration Assistant

Handle are thrilled to be working with one of the world's leading music companies to be sourcing a Regional European Administration Assistant to come and join the department who provide international copyright, process and technical support to all of the European offices.

This is a great opportunity for an organised, self-starter who is keen to play a pivotal role within a busy and passionate team and has experience in copyright administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of counterclaims within Europe
  • Continuing the centralised management of international repertoire counterclaims for offices within the ICE footprint and for other specified European offices
  • Communicating with CMOs and other interested parties on international repertoire counterclaims
  • Providing local counterclaim and dispute coordination services directly to the UK organisation's clients, in close collaboration with the UK Copyright Department
  • Designing and delivering volume and performance metrics to actively monitor counterclaim process performance
  • Coordinating international repertoire Copyright Queries & Troubleshooting for designated European offices
  • Catalogue maintenance projects as instructed by management e.g. copyright data implementation, clean-up
  • Working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A team player attitude
  • Experience in copyright administration at a music publisher or CMO
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capability to work with other business units such as Business Affairs and A&R, understanding of their processes
  • An adaptable to changing processes
  • An ability to assess priorities and manage own workload, deadlines effectively
  • Fluency in a European language other than English (desirable)
