Senior Commercial Insights Manager
We currently have a Senior Insights Analyst role available for a high profile Retail company with UK headquarters in North London. This is a great opportunity to work on various high profile projects and they continue to expand.
* The Senior Commercial Insight manager will be responsible for supporting the Buying and Commercial Strategy teams, with any data, reporting or insight requirements.
Essential:
- Strong experience both as an analyst and manager of analysts
- Retail, e-commerce or FMCG consumer-facing business
- Presenting analytics driven recommendations to wide ranging audiences
- Develop and implement a department strategy
- Broad awareness of software and techniques for managing and analysing commercial data
- SQL and understanding of databases
- Tableau
- Python
Desirable
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce or FMCG consumer-facing business
Role:
- Lead a headcount of 20 managers and analysts
- Form a strong working partnership with multiple directors and department heads
- Main point of contact into the Insight team for the Buying Director.
- Develop and implement department strategy
- Support stakeholders short-term needs through reports and ad-hoc work.
- Lead development of process and training
- Build wide ranging expertise on business data, processes and systems.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of analytical best practice and new innovations.
- Support the design and development of new and existing tools and capabilities
