Global entertainment brand seeks commercially minded analyst with excellent Excel skills!

We are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst role on behalf of one of the entertainment industries powerhouses. Working within their digital video team the role is focussed on providing analytical reports which will aid decision making.

This is a superb opportunity for a data driven analyst to gain experience in one of the fastest moving departments of a major player in media and entertainment.

Duties for the role will include:

* Deliver planning & forecasts, including Budget and long range plan, monthly/quarterly
forecasts, and such other forecasts as required by the Head of Finance
* Prepare monthly/quarterly close including the accruals of the monthly royalty statements,
and deliver insightful analysis of actual business performance
* Business partner with the Digital Video senior leadership, communicating financial results
& forecasts and supporting them in commercial decision making
* Develop and improve internal processes and reporting across the Digital Video finance
function, particularly the Excel forecast models and integration with the multiple
reporting & database systems
* Track & understand performance by retailer & major title across the Digital Video division
to provide projections and aid in commercial decision making.
* Liaising with Tech teams on data initiatives to maintain and improve database integrity
across multiple systems
* Business partner with the Sales & Marketing teams to optimise commercial success and
support them on new business initiatives and commercial negotiations as required

Top take this role on your must have excellent excel skills and previous experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau. You will have proven business partnering experience and the ability to put together ad-hoc reports from large data sets quickly.

You do not have to be a full qualified accountant to take on the position though that would be preferred.
