Senior Finance Reporting Manager - Film/TV/Digital
Rapidly growing film and TV content business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Senior Finance Manager to join the growing finance function. This role will have a breadth of responsibility across internal and external reporting, maintenance of internal controls, systems implementation, and technical accounting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management discussion and analysis for internal & external reporting
- Quarterly debt covenant & compliance reporting
- Key point of contact for external auditors ensuring annual audits run smoothly
- Liaising with external financial statement preparation & company secretarial teams to ensure compliance with local filing requirements
- Assistance with technical GAAP / IFRS conversion assessments
- Determining internal audit scope and developing annual audit plans
- Liaising with external providers to review current internal controls & processes
- Documenting, testing, and reviewing internal controls
- Assistance with finance system implementation and process automation
- Completion of other regular ad hoc reporting requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
- ACA, CIMA, ACCA Qualified or equivalent with min 4 years PQE
- Experience in media industry - preferable
- Practice experience - preferable
- USGAAP experience - would be a bonus
- Able to understand the bigger picture and how Finance's inputs and outputs can affect the business
- Experience working within a fast growth business environment, able to prioritise in a fast moving & dynamic environment
- Experience of development of financial controls and systems implementation
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build models, working with vlookups and other advanced formulas
- Knowledge of Netsuite and / or Salesforce would be a bonus
- Good technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS), Public company reporting and SOX controls experience
