A leading entertainment giant are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their gaming division on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is an excellent role for a qualified analyst with around 2 to 3 years post qualified experience.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a clear forecast of future performance and providing insightful reporting and analysis on the UK games business.
Role
- Act as trusted Business Partner to the UK and EMEA Games division
- Deliver planning & forecasting processes
- Ensure successful and compliant monthly/quarterly close
- Managing variance analysis in monthly financial statements
- Provide business advice for developing other business models for the mobile games business.
- Responsibility for the review and/or calculation of all key financial information
- Reporting and delivering key insightful analysis of actual business performance
- Development of internal reporting and processes, in particular the Digital forecasting processes.
- Provide commercial support to the sales team for digital and physical customers.
- Evaluate new business models and commercial games opportunities
Candidate
- Qualified Accountant with 1 or 2 post qualified experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and natural ability to communicate with non-finance professionals and senior stakeholders
- Prior working experience within FP&A and business support
- Prior experience or a genuine interest in working within media is highly desirable
- Distribution or supply chain experience is highly desirable
- Agility and intellectual curiosity is a must
- Strong analytics with advanced excel, SAP and Hyperion experience would be highly advantageous
