Java Developer - AWS
Handle is working with a Global TV network to help them find a senior Java Developer. In this initial 3 - 6 months contract your role will focus on the creation of new world-class Sports VoD and streaming platform. This is an exciting brand new project under a brand that will be used by millions worldwide.
Key requirements:
- 5+ years Java programming / Development experience
- Modern architechtural styles - non-blocking, asynchronous, reactive
- Cloud based - AWS / Kubernetes / Azure
- Continious integration / deployment
- Relational Databases - (Kafka / REdis / Elasticsearch / DynamoDB
- Microservice architecture
- High Scale, performant, resilent API's facing consumers
- Passion for quality and best practices
Desirable:
- D2C experience
- Broadcast / Media / VOD background
