Are you looking for your first role after leaving practice? If so this could be the perfect first step into entertainment for you!

I am currently working with a global entertainment giant who are looking to hire a Senior Licensee Compliance Analyst on a 12 month interim contract. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and managing a small team, the duties of the role will include:

  • Perform analysis of financial data to identify areas of audit risks. Analyse complex licensing contracts, identifying financial terms and compliance points for audit
  • Customise and develop data testing models to accommodate all levels of licensee reporting
  • Review accuracy of licensee royalty reporting and payment histories
  • Perform audit interviews of licensees and/or agents to evaluate royalty reporting processes and financial environments
  • Document licensee process flows and system functionality as it relates to royalty reporting
  • Execute audit procedures and document findings for inclusion in draft audit reports
  • Assist with resolution of any interpretive differences of contract terms
  • Assemble work-papers and present audit findings to management for review. Assist with settlement of audit claims as needed
  • Conduct business reviews of key licensees as part of the licensee audit process and communicate findings and analysis in appropriate formats to key stakeholders
  • Analysis of the reporting environment beyond the financial forecast
  • Perform licensee debtors age analysis, as well as outstanding royalty statement submissions

This is the perfect role for someone with either internal or external audit experience, gained in industry or practice, who is looking for a step into a more analytical role.

Knowledge of European languages will be very useful but is not essential.
