Technical Programme Manager - Broadcast Media

We currently have a Technical Programme Manager role available for a high profile Media Broadcast company with UK headquarters in London.

The right candidate will have:

  • a track record of having built high-performance, stable, scalable backend platforms for multi-market, multi-brand compliant support for monetization, payments, and financial reporting functions in the enterprise.
  • technical background, able to clarify requirements on the API/data base level

Key responsibilities include:

  • Shipped multiple high-impact projects and programs as well as used data to assess their impact.
  • Agile program/project management methodology and practices and the ability to speak to it across stakeholders.
  • You have a broad knowledge of relevant program/project management tools and technologies that could be applied at varying degrees across the process.
  • Experience with all phases of program delivery from concept to production, including defining features and deliverables, securing team commitments, establishing a program charter, handling all communication and reporting, overseeing development and deployment, and performing retrospective assessments using data and key performance indicators.
  • Capacity to make decisions for more than one project or program area showing that your judgment is fungible, and be able to handle more than one program simultaneously and successfully.
  • Experience working as a Technical Program Manager, Quality Assurance Automation Engineer or Software Engineer

Experience:

  • Delivered backend platforms for multi-market, multi-brand compliant support in monetization, payments, and financial reporting areas
  • Engineering background and/or past experience as TPM, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer
  • Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project management, attention to details, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Strong analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions


Desirable:

  • Broadcast / OTT / Streaming experience
