Job Description

Handle Recruitment are working alongside a Leading Music Company, in recruiting an Accounts Assistant. The role will sit within a dynamic accounting function and report directly into the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

Will overall responsibility for the transnational accounting across the function this position will also be assisting the senior accounting figures with month end and analytical duties. Assisting closely with the smooth running of the Accounts Department, the position will involve but not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly sales & cost financial reporting pack
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for subsidiaries
  • Supporting the Finance Director and Senior UK & International Accountant with accounting projects
  • Maintain purchase and sales ledgers for subsidiaries
  • Monthly reconciliations for all UK and international bank accounts
  • Adhoc financial analysis

We are looking for someone who is competent, self-motivated & trustworthy, who also has a bright and enthusiastic personality. The successful candidate will possess a finance or accounting related degree, ideally with a 2:1 or above

The ideal candidate should have had some exposure to an accounting function and office environment. Computer literacy should include an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
