Handle Recruitment have a new exciting opportunity within a well known retail company based in central London. The company are looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing finance team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has 6 months - 1 year of purchase ledger experience looking for a new challenge within a fast paced and social environment!
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Scanning invoices onto invoice approval system
- Matching invoices with POs
- Reconciliation of company credit cards
- Checking and inputting of expenses
- Posting purchase ledger journals
- Assisting with administration duties as required
We are looking for someone with 6 months - 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role ideally within a fast paced environment and using an accounting software. You should have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to work. Intermediate Excel skills and high attention to detail are also essential.
