Accounts Receivable- Retail
Handle Recruitment are working alongside a successful retail organisation and are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is truly a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Ledger Clerk keen to gain more experience in a fast paced and lively environment.
The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and you will be required to work both independently as well as part of a small finance team.
- Raising Sales invoices
- Managing the Accounts Receivable email inbox
- Daily banking and allocation of receipts
- Managing credit cards
- Monthly reconciliations
- Contacting debtors and chasing any over-due payments
- Dealing with customer queries
- Assisting with any ad-hoc duties
To be considered for this role you will need to have previous proven Sales Ledger experience preferable 2 years+. You will have experience with computerised accounting systems, comfortable Excel skills and be highly literate and numerate. It will be highly advantageous if you have any accounting qualifications and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
