Our client is a rapidly growing SME company who are looking for an enthusiastic and progressive Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. Based in South West London this is a temporary to permanent opportunity based on performance. They are looking for someone who is adaptable, confident and keen to progress within a sociable and exciting environment. Due to company size this role will require you to assist with additional areas of the business as well as finance when necessary.
You will report directly to the Financial Director and be assisting with preparing the management accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Management of sales and purchase ledger
- Chasing debt
- Journal posting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Fixed assets, booking and depreciation
- Bank reconciliations
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Setting up new suppliers
- Ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment with ideally 2 years' experience. You will be able to prioritise and meet deadlines, have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to your position. You will need to be available at short notice and be able to travel to South West London. Part qualified in ACCA/ CIMA qualification would be desirable but is not essential to the role and previous experience with Xero would be a bonus.
