Salary Negotiable DOE

Handle Recruitment is working with a Live Music Booking Agency to find a Booker to join their team in Central London.

Reporting directly to the Agent, key responsibilities will include:

  • Booking shows and overseeing these shows from start to finish, issuing Deal Memos
  • Attending gigs, concerts and meetings as the role requires
  • Maintaining datasheets via the Dealmaker system
  • Liaising with artist management regarding announcement and on sale date, making sure they have everything they need (Dates, ticket links, timings)
  • Gathering promotional material from the promoter to be approved by Primary/ the Artist
  • Negotiating and issuing contracts, gathering ticket links
  • Liaising with Artist accountants to ensure they have all they need for the issuing of invoices
  • Liaising with Promoters on tax issues and associated paperwork in order to help the Artist with reducing it
  • Following up signed contacts, deposits and balances
  • Collating and sending out assets to promoters
  • Sending out ticket sales to management
  • Overseeing aspects of marketing
  • Issuing CoS (Certificate of Sponsorships)
  • Liaising closely with Artist's Manager/ Tour Manager ensuring that all requirements are met

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable previous Booking experience at a Live Music Agency
  • The confidence to build, maintain and develop relationships with Artists, managers, promoters, venues, record labels - promoting the Artists as much as possible.
  • Strong knowledge of productivity tools such as Dropbox, WeTransfer, Evenote etc
  • Proficient skills in Mac and savvy on social media
