Job Description

Booking System Development Assistant - Music

Handle is working with a leading Agency to find an experienced and confident Live Booking Assistant. You will have a good understanding of how to book a live show and have the desire to help develop a new system. You will work closely with the IT Manager to help develop and deliver a new office wide Admin system.

Main Elements of the role:

Quickly learn new proto-type booking system

Advise on improvements and fixes

Log and document system bugs and faults

Assist in delivery of user testing

Develop and maintain development to do lists

Arrange project meetings

Assist in production of basic training materials FAQs, How to guides, Feature description

Support user training and system roll out.

Must have experience of:

Working at live booking agency

Experience and knowledge of live booking process including:

-Managing artist availability

-Liaising with artist management, preparing offers, show specific admin

Creating and updating bookings

Liaising with promoters, forwarding shows

Creating and issuing contracts

Managing payment schedules, chasing payments

Collate and distribute ticket figures.

Manage post show close out.

You must have strong organisational and planning skills, be a fast learner with strong attention to detail. Strong IT skills, and web browser based apps ideally with an understanding of booking worklflow.
