Handle are proud to recruit a Budget Coordinator for a leading retail brand within the heart of Central London. Working within the Sales Finance team, the Budget Coordinator will partner with Sales & Marketing teams to review spend and processes. This is an excellent role for someone looking for a varied and challenging role within Finance.
This role reports to the Budget Coordinator Manager and the key component of this role is to ensure spend is within budgeted allowances and are raised in accordance with contracts. The role will require tracking of costs with the latest budgets, job estimates, Purchase Order information and invoices.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Quarter-end duties, including accrual preparation, Balance Sheet management and close commentary bridging.
- Receiving invoices and authorising payment via SAP
- Manage & Facilitate spend including raising and tracking PO's
- Provide weekly reporting
- Weekly meetings with Budget Owners
- Manage ad hoc projects as required
We are looking for someone with effective time management skills that use initiatives to priorities workload. Excellent analytical skills and exceptional organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. The right candidate will have 1-2 years' experience working within Finance.
