A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer to join a rapidly growing media company operating in the broadcast, music, live and digital markets.
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, the role offers the chance to work on an enviable array of agreements and play a significant part in helping the company through the next stage of its development.
The role includes drafting and negotiating music, broadcast, live and digital management agreements; suggesting new and innovative deal structures and models for the company's clients (co-productions and JVs); coordinating due diligence and liaising with outside corporate counsel in respect of the company's expansion plans; dispute management; contributing to ensuring that business risk is managed appropriately; and coaching staff re how to review contracts - amongst many others.
To be successful, you should be a qualified lawyer with 0-1yr PQE* (or a Chartered Legal Executive) and have excellent drafting and negotiating skills in a commercial context (ideally in a media related sector). In addition to Contract law, you will have experience in some or all of the following: IP, Employment law, and/or Litigation.
