Business Development Executive - Subscriptions
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a unique digitally lead subscription-based media company who are currently seeking an Business Development Executive to work on one of their popular online advertising subscriptions. The role would focus on engaging prospective subscribers to generate growth and brand awareness. The ideal candidate would be passionate about the creative and advertising world and enjoy working in an interactive, fast paced environment.
- Meet and exceed targets - monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Engage prospective subscribers over the phone and in person.
- Exceed activity based Key Performance Indicators by opportunities created, demonstrations and meetings booked and attended.
- Follow up on all marketing activity.
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and manage pipeline effectively.
Skills and experience required:
- 12 - 36 months sales experience - preferably in (but not limited to) B2B media sales or information sales.
- A creative and/or advertising background.
- Opening new opportunities (pitching) experience.
- Questioning and qualification knowledge.
- Strong objection handling skills.
- To be able to handle negotiation well.
- Experience in closing (sales) both face to face and over the phone.
- Effective written communication.
- Knowledge and confidence in face-to-face meetings.
- Pipeline management and forecasting.
- Language skills desirable but not essential.
