Commercial Finance Manager - Film

Global Film and Entertainment business are looking for a high calibre qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA Commercial Finance Manager to own the overall profitability analysis, budget preparation and managing the financial impact of new and existing trading relationships.

This varied role will involve:

  • Preparation of and presenting to the Management Board quarterly retailer profitability analysis within the Home Entertainment division
  • Preparation of and presenting to the Management Board physical video and games budgets and forecasts by retailer
  • Represent Finance in retailer term discussions, preparing business cases and identifying the impact to the business on new terms of trade
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and provide appropriate reports
  • Manage the initiation of new business trading models, including consignment, with retailers and embedding associated new processes as business as usual
  • Manage the month end accounting and monthly forecasts for all retailer associated cost of business (annual retrospective discounts, promotional markdowns, marketing spend)
  • Manage the oversight of all SAP activities, including disputed items resolution
  • Ensure Commercial Finance Analysts are resolving all finance related issues with retailers and actively participating in retailer account teams
  • Encourage and drive process improvement activities (territory and enterprise wide)
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and requests as necessary
  • Directly managing a Junior Analyst and support the Senior Finance Manager by indirectly managing the other Commercial Finance Analysts

The correct candidate will:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or international equivalent) + min 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Understanding relevant industry environment - FMCG, retail customers, sales-led organisations
  • Management experience required
  • Previous SAP / other ERP experience preferred
