Commercial Management Accountant - Global Entertainment - London

Commercial Management Accountant required for our client within the TV/Entertainment industry, this Commercial Management Accountant is responsible for managing the expanding distribution, brands and kids content division being responsible for management accounts and project work.

This role is perfect for a newly/recently qualified accountant looking for the next step. The role sits within a vibrant office with a strong creative culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts analysis and commentary
  • Collation of budgets and forecasts/re forecast
  • Assisting with preparing the cash flow forecasting
  • Being a point of contact for liaising with the commercial team
  • Responsibility for maintaining 3rd party distribution royalty statements
  • Assisting with the preparation for month end, commission statements and approving sales orders
  • Assist with coding marketing invoices against the budget
  • Responsibility for maintaining 3rd party distribution royalty statements
  • Ad hoc projects

Key skills:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant
  • A proven background in Management Accounts with some exposure to FP&A
  • Previous experience in TV/Entertainment is highly desirable
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills
  • Self motivated, ability to follow direction and work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritising work load to deadlines
