Job Description

World renowned music company are seeking a Senior Reporting Manager to join their expanding Accounting function Working across the business this position will be working closely with the Management, Touring, Tax and Artist divisions to improve and maintain client relationships and services provided

The Senior Reporting Manager will be expected deliver exceptional quality of service and be responsible for the development of the touring and accounts functions, working closely with different business units to improve efficiency and enhance client service.

Responsibilities

  • Produce client-centric financial and business management reports for clients
  • including management accounts, tour reports and net worth statements
  • Develop and enhance financial reporting to improve efficiency of production and deliver increased insight and value to clients
  • Lead the development of the Touring and Bookkeeping departments
  • Manage the Touring and Bookkeeping team managers
  • Ensure reporting deadlines and productivity targets are met for tour reports and bookkeeping outputs
  • Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team
  • Advise on the financial implications of business decisions
  • Offer professional judgment on financial matters and advise on ways of improving business performance
  • Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis
  • Liaise with other function managers to put the tour accounts
  • Problem solve with all members of the Touting and Bookkeeping departments

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and be experienced with financial reporting within a Music/Media or Entertainment Environment. Supervising and advising accountants in different functions across finance you will be a team player and have a proven track record of technical and commercial accounting.
