As content is the major unique selling point for the division's customer proposition this is a really exciting and strategic role which plays a key part in the group's acquisition and conversion strategy. It will involve planning an engaging content strategy for the group's Financial Services products through digital and traditional channels, in conjunction with relevant internal stakeholders.
We are looking for a creative, motivated, tenacious and proactive content marketer with string SEO skills, and with experience in delivering and executing content ideas that drive engagement. You will be data driven and hungry to see where your ideas are having impact. You will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to plan and prioritise. Copywriting is your forte and you will be comfortable being hands on with content production but also commissioning work to designers, external and freelance copywriters. This role will give you the opportunity to own and manage the group's financial services content plan, scheduling and sharing content effectively and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure business and user requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You'll be helping to drive the commercial content proposition within the business, so the ability to 'sell the dream' as well as deliver it will be valued. You will also work closely with partners and their copywriting teams to ensure created content is both aligned to partners as well as the Telegraph brand and has sufficient cut-through to ensure sales and revenue targets are exceeded.
