Job Description

Handle Recruitment is working with a leading Music Licensing Organisation to source an experienced Social Media Manager to join their London team.

Reporting directly to Senior PR and Communications Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Create engaging content that inspires our audiences using, for example, videos and infographics to support online PR, articles, surveys, blogs, events and the broader social media strategy
  • Design and produce marketing materials including PowerPoint presentations, literature, some merchandise, infographic visuals, trade event collateral, adverts for events brochures, and web content
  • Artwork specs and set up files for print simultaneously, working quickly and efficiently with high quality output
  • Identifying and targeting relevant social media audiences and new markets within the music industry
  • Supporting the Head of Communications with the development of a new website and other digital services ensuring the content is up-to-date
  • Curating, commissioning and creating SEO-savvy web copy and adapt written information to a digestible format to be used online and via social media channels

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification or membership of professional body or relevant experience
  • Experience of creating and managing a wide range of digital content, including videos, infographics and imagery
  • Significant experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier)
  • Experience of managing day-to-day website delivery and other digital platforms
  • Experience of web and other analytics and interpreting data to effect change
  • A good knowledge of how digital channels can be integrated to successfully deliver multi-channel, integrated campaigns
  • HTML & CSS coding ability and understanding of CMS systems, SEO and SEM
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and experience in Microsoft Office software
