Web Development Manager 50-60K

International Fashion Ecommerce Brand
Central London

Handle are working with an iconic British menswear brand to help them find their next Development Manager. The brand is growing very fast in the UK and international markets.

They are now looking for an experienced Development Manager to join their team and manage all the aspects of their development, maintenance and support of multiple websites built in Demandware.

As a Demandware Web Development Manager you will:

  • Oversee the web design team to architect plan and implement new solutions in Demandware.
  • Manage external vendors and content providers to make sure the website runs smoothly and is being constantly improved.
  • Be responsible for delivery of brand's online presence to strict deadlines.
  • Constantly examine web performance.

Requirements for a Demandware Web Development Manager:

  • You will have some hands-on technical web development experience with a proven track of management and delivery of complex websites ideally in a ecommerce brand

  • You will have a good understanding of Demandware and be able to lead and instruct Developers.

  • You will have a good eye for Design and be able to work with third party agencies and/or freelancers to for new and existing designs for the website.

  • Any previous experience with creating/directing web Design guidelines would be advantageous.
