Job Description
Handle is working with a very high profile sporting body to recruit a Digital Product Manager to take charge of the development and implementation of their digital roadmap for a website encouraging grass-roots participation in a popular sport.
The role is wide-ranging and encompasses Product Management, Project Management UX and Customer journey elements.
The role is initially a 14-month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to become perm.
The role would suit an avid sports fan with at least three years of Digital Product Experience.
The Role
Delivering the implementation of existing product enhancements and new product suite for Mass Participation. You will also build a view of potential future product extensions.
Responsible for implementation and continuous improvement of the digital product
Managing agency resources across various suppliers, working through enhancements and bug-fix priorities.
Taking ownership of the product roadmap and change delivery process
Providing industry best practice advice to the customer marketing team on digital design, website, mobile and app development
Liaising with key stakeholders to understand and translate customer needs into the right product development initiatives.
Manage the road-map priorities across the business.
Experience
At least three years working in a digital project management environment
Demonstrable management of delivering complex website design and build projects.
Considerable experience of managing external agency resources across overlapping website and app development projects
Adept at making decisions based on data
A sound knowledge of, and passion, for product management best practice, including the ability to work in an agile manner within a wider delivery time-line, and promoting others to do the same
