Handle are incredibly delighted to partner with a world-famous Broadcaster based in Central-West London to help them find a mid-weight permanent Drupal Developer.
The broadcaster recently is going through a huge transformation and, as part of it, formed an in-house agency to produce the best consumer-facing digital products and services across the organisation.
The brand have been given a large investment to improve and grow their Digital Products so as well as the core responsibilities you'll be given the flexibility to be as creative as possible. This will involve UX Discovery work and various prototyping pieces. It will genuinely be an amazing opportunity for you to get involved in new and exciting projects and grow as an experienced Drupal Developer.
As a full-stack Drupal Developer, you will join their friendly and multinational team and focus on two of their flagship products. They will be soon going through a migration from Drupal 7 to 8 so any commercial experience with one or both technologies will be highly beneficial. If you don't have any current Drupal 8 experience this could be a great opportunity to join one of the most well-known brands in the Broadcasting industry while gaining exposure to new cutting-edge technologies.
Your core tasks will focus on full-stack web development with Drupal as their core CMS of two large websites. You will be able to work extensively on front-end components and significantly improve its functionality and the product as a whole.
As a Drupal Software Engineer you will need experience with:
- Drupal CMS, minimum one year.
- Git or similar
- Jira or similar
- Confluence or similar
- MySQL or similar
"Nice to have" skills for the Drupal Software Engineer:
- At least 1 of Apache, NGINX, Varnish
- Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, physics etc. preferred.
- Interest in new technology.
- Full-stack web development experience.
