Handle are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our client's fast-moving team and take over day to day management of their events website platform.
With the help of their off-shore team, you will be responsible for effectively managing updates on over 40 e-commerce websites; ensuring that their clients get the best experience and briefs are delivered on time and at high quality. Working alongside the marketing team, you'll be technically minded with experience on a CMS (Drupal or similar), have an excellent knowledge of web design principles, a broad knowledge of online marketing and be an approachable outgoing person.
A good communicator, you will able to explain technical matters and liaise effectively between teams. Another aspect of the role will be helping to develop the platform to meet e-commerce KPIs; conducting usability tests and other research, finding quick-wins to drive conversion rates and feeding new requirements to developers.
- Managing and filtering incoming requests
- Day to day management of off-shore development team
- Creating and rebuilding the events (awards and conference) website based on briefs
- Troubleshooting problems and seeing through to resolution
- Liaising with events marketing team to understand requirements
- Feeding developments into the product development cycle
The successful candidate will possess 1-2 years experience in a similar digital marketing/ digital operations role with a proven ability to quickly grasp CMS and complex web-based software. You will be confident managing stakeholders and have experience working with transactional websites. Experience using Drupal is highly desirable but not essential.
