Fashion Exhibition - Key Account Manager

£38-42k basic + uncapped commission


Our client, an international events organiser is looking for a key account manager to sell exhibition space, sponsorship and digital opportunities on one of their most established trade shows. The remit of the role will include managing existing blue chip clients focusing on retention and up-selling only.

Other aspects of the role will include building strong relationships within your chosen industry, working closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure events deliver to full potential. The successful candidate must be able to work in partnership with the Portfolio Director and other members of the team to ensure comprehensive territory coverage culminating in personal and team targets reached and exceeded where possible.


  • Bolster and up-sell existing relationships with Blue Chip clients
  • Hit and surpass monthly revenue and KPI targets
  • Contact lapsed and recent exhibitors.
  • Build relationships with and engage new clients.
  • Hit and surpass monthly revenue and KPI targets
  • Achieve and exceed expected standards of daily/weekly/monthly performance.
  • Keep the team and management up to date on market conditions and trends.
  • Report weekly to the Portfolio Director on performance and pipelines.

Experience Required

  • At least 3-4 years' event sales experience ideally within exhibitions but will also look at conference background
  • A working knowledge of exhibition sales and structure.
  • Online sales experience preferred.
  • Experience of package selling, ideally that includes sponsorship and digital
