Exhibitor Marketing Manager - Exhibitions

My Client, a major UK & International exhibition organisation is currently seeking an experienced Exhibitor Marketing Manager. The role would involve being responsible for creating exhibitor acquisition strategies for their events portfolio. The ideal applicant would be experienced in designing highly effective strategic and tactical marketing plans - at market, segment and key customer levels. The role would be best suited to someone who has strong relationship building skills and who is highly proactive and commercially minded.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating exhibitor acquisition strategies for each event, basing targets and strategic priorities on the overall sales and brand strategies.
  • Agreeing on annual lead and revenue targets for each event with the sales leader, ensuring all subsequent plans align to these goals.
  • Ensuring all plans translate into clear marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Working closely with the Automation, Creative, Data Strategy, Digital and Web Teams to create and execute detailed lead generation programs.
  • Managing the lead pipeline, including feeding sales-ready leads into Salesforce, lead segmentation to help prioritise sales activity and lead nurturing and retargeting through the pipeline.
  • Putting the customer in the heart of all communications, plans and strategies.
  • Getting fully immersed in the market place - on a regular basis visiting customers, attending industry events, meeting our associations all with the aim to have detailed market knowledge which need to feed into plans and strategies.
  • Reporting weekly on performance.
  • Creating revenue recovery strategies and stretch plans, driving additional revenue by putting forward business cases.
  • Actively using the internal communication tools to promote the Exhibitor Marketing Team's and entire marketing team's successes across the business.

Experience required:

  • Creating revenue recovery strategies and stretch plans, driving additional revenue by putting forward business cases.
  • Minimum three years' experience of creating highly effective strategic and tactical marketing plans.
  • Experience in lead generation, lead scoring and lead nurture and automation.
  • Experience in working with sales teams to improve sales and marketing alignment, and sales and marketing processes, including sales and marketing planning, and lead management.
  • Experience of developing customer insight and improving customer experience ideal.
